    I was not a big fan of Poojaa. Maybe initially I was, but in the makeover episode, she surprised everyone.

    Because of her shorter hair, Poojaa transformed into a fresher and more high fashion model. It gave her face a different glow as compared to her bland-ish look before.

    For the latest photo shoot, everything worked well to her advantage. Her clothes complemented her skin and although, the arm on the waist pose is getting on my nerves, somehow, it still engages the viewers to analyze every detail of the photo.

  • #AsNTM2 Episode 4: “The Girl That Embraces Change” Recap

    This is the episode that we are all waiting for, the makeover episode! Only a number of girls have had memorable makeovers. Most of the girls only get layers, bangs and curls. The episode is really disappointing and has bored the hell out of me. This has got to be one of those episodes that we will not remember when we get to the final 5.

    It is that boring.

  • #AsNTM2 Episode 3: “The Girl Who’s Hot When She is Cold” Recap

    The episode was tagged as the “most challenging” episode of the show. On the contrary, the episode did not deliver as promised. It was boring and predictable. I’d just hope the next episode would be better.

  • #AsNTM2 Episode 2 Best Photo: Nicole “The Karate Princess”

    Nicole’s photo was strong and was definitely a big improvement from her first photo shoot. She learned to work with her squinty (for a lack of a better word) eyes to her advantage.

    The girls generally did just an okay performance in Episode 2. Most of the girls did not make use of the set and just posed in a “high fashion” manner. Maybe it was the limitations of the set? Maybe because they weren’t educated of what the statues signify in Malaysian culture?

    Or maybe it was just because of the monkeys?

    What can you say about last week’s best photo? Do you agree with the judges? If not, whose photo should have been called first?

    I guess the goal of this episode is to teach the girls how to be relevant in the world wide web. In the age of social media represented by Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, this may be a “skill” that a modern model must have in her pocket. After all, social media are means to promote oneself and showcase one’s personality to the public.
