  • Introducing the Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 6 Contestants

The Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 6 contestants have already been revealed! When? Well, it depends. The official Facebook page revealed the 14 models in a live Facebook stream just this week. But weeks even months before, a list of rumored contestants had already circulated. At least now it’s official. Here are the 14 models vying for the title of becoming Asia’s. 👏 Next. 👏 Top. 👏 Model. 👏

I’m happy to note that we have more countries represented than last cycle. 🙌 They’re living up to their #BeyondLimits slogan this cycle. Although I don’t know how long they can keep that up. Remember #ExpectTheUnexpected? 😂

Now let’s meet this cycle’s 14 girls in no particular order. 😏 If you aren’t too keen on reading long articles, I’ve prepared a video for you with all 14 girls after the cut…

  • Eto na! Musikal nAPO! is a Hit!

A jukebox musical is always an exciting idea. To the regular theater-goer, it might seem like a simple formula: take a musician’s existing catalog and make a story out of it. But, in reality, it is very hard to execute. Jukebox musicals are either a hit or a miss. 9 Works Theatrical and Globe Live’s first original Filipino musical takes on APO Hiking Society’s greatest hits. And like APO’s songs, Eto Na! Musikal nAPO! is definitely a big hit.

At the core of Eto Na! Musikal nAPO! is a heartwarming story of love and friendship. Set during the country’s turbulent 70’s, a group of college friends decide to join a singing and songwriting contest. At a time when originality and creativity, especially in the music industry, was not particularly celebrated, they decide to submit an original composition.

  • Eto Na! Musikal nAPO! – A Musical that Transcends Generations

Globe LIVE! and 9 Works Theatrical are back with Eto na! Musikal nAPO! an original Filipino musical based on the music of the APO Hiking Society, nonetheless. Globe and 9 Works’ first Pinoy musical centers on a barkada’s colorful college life in Manila 1975. It isn’t auto-biographical (let’s straighten that out) but it is inspired by the story of how APO started and came about.

  • Miss Universe 2017 Q&A: Miss South Africa Demi Leigh Wins

The 66th Miss Universe just wrapped up and many have already posted their “‘wag muna magpaparlor statuses” because Miss Philippines Rachel Peters didn’t make the top 5. Geez, gay people have other professions too, you know. Anyway, like last year and the year before that, Amiciness transcribed all the Q and A from the most awaited pageant in the universe as accurately as possible. I thank you.

    Miss Universe Top 5 Q&A

The 92 candidates of the 2017 Miss Universe (the highest attendance in the pageant’s history) were whittled down to the Top 16 for the swimsuit round, down to the Top 10 for the evening gown round, and to the Top 5 for the all-important Q&A. The last 5 standing were: South Africa, Venezuela, Thailand, Jamaica and Colombia. Here’s how they answered the Q&A:

  • Chill Trip to Bacolod

Okay, this is a very, VERY late post. Early this year, I went to Bacolod with friends to spend a long weekend there. Our plan was simple. We just wanted to stay on the beach, drink and eat! No extreme activity unlike the last time 🙄.

We went straight to our hotel to spend the night but I took time to take some photos at Bacolod Public Plaza. Why doesn’t Metro Manila have more plazas anymore? I’m so inggit. 😪
