    Our diamond in the rough finally unleashes her potentials in a very “water-bender”-ish inspired pose. Katarina‘s powerful stare just pierces through your insides and makes you feel goosies all over (thanks JLo for the term!). This has to be her best photo yet and the only memorable one to be honest. This is the first time that she seems to be in the competition, and she looks like she’s in it to win it (thanks Randy Jackson!).

    We also have to commend Mike Rosenthal for the great pictures this week. Great use of depth of field in this photo, which lets us focus all our attention on Katarina.

    The girls temporarily leave their city life and gear up to show their “wild” side in AsNTM’s episode 9. They are challenged to spend a night camping in the jungles of Borneo. Now, I want to go to there. It seems that for this cycle, the sponsors are really generous as compared to last year’s.

  • #AsNTM2 Episode 8: “The Girl Who Makes a Splash” Recap

    The competition is ON as the top 8 models battle to win the coveted title. Unexpectedly, all of a sudden, the girls form alliances and speak behind each others’ backs. Maybe, since Janice has already been eliminated, her throne as “public enemy” must be turned over to one of the remaining girls. Maybe this is just reality TV editing or maybe not, but surely, we are enjoying the drama.

    Care for a Tango?

    Josephine did it again as she produced the most dynamic and expressive photo last week. As the judges pointed out, Josephine was not afraid to zone out and isolate herself to create a romantic story with the male models.

    Although half of her face was hidden, the emotions conveyed were felt throughout the photo. Zoomed in or zoomed out, the photo is just outstanding.
