But before all of that drama with the announcement and crowning of the winner happened, the audience got treated to a showcase of the candidates’ wit and grace under pressure in the Miss Universe 2015 Q&A. Let’s see how the finalists fared and how I, Amiciness, answer these questions:
The 2015 Miss Universe pageant is just a few days away, and now we, the audience and the judges, get the chance to meet and judge the candidates before one of them is crowned as the new Miss Universe. Let’s all watch the girls strut their stuff in their swimsuits and display their grace in their evening gowns in the 2015 Miss Universe Preliminary Competition.
Who would have known that solving Rubik’s cubes can be so romantic? How could a 3-D puzzle cube bring me the feels? Well this guy did it:
My friend Macon celebrated her birthday last week. Her boyfriend, Kelsey, made her this surprise video that blew everyone away, myself included. The final result will astound you.
Macon and Kelsey both attended and met in the same university. But it was only in the workplace that they made their relationship official. This is probably the sweetest birthday gift I have ever seen.
Kelsey used 200 Rubik’s cubes to make the four different frames. Each frame took 2 hours to make. I’m amazed at that amount of dedication! Macon is one lucky girl! 😀

Flashback! I think it was exactly a month ago when I saw a post from the band’s FB account. It has always been my dream to be in an MTV and better yet, a Sponge Cola music video. I wasn’t able to join the Makapiling Ka video contest before and that really frustrated me. After watching the contest mechanics, I convinced Gillian (Resident Web Designer and Editor of Amiciness) to join in. He didn’t have a choice actually. HAHA. BUT, we didn’t have the time and location! To make it worse, I didn’t have a girl friend willing to be the female lead. Fortunately, we managed. (Spoiler alert: The female lead has long black hair. :D)
Impulsively, we decided to book a hotel room that coming weekend and just shoot. Bahala na (kahit mahal)! We brainstormed for a week to the point of overthinking every detail. Bahala na talaga! Three more friends (Kim, Nikko and Ernan) were also kind enough to help make the props and engineer the lights (read: hold the flashlight). I’m forever grateful, friends!! Shooting was not as easy as I imagined but it was so much fun. At last, nagamit din ang mga acting workshop! 😀
I always wanted to see myself on TV and this is as close as it gets.

The Miss Earth 2015 pageant recently concluded in Vienna, Austria. Angelia Ong from The Philippines won the tilt, making her the second consecutive Filipina to win the crown.
