    The girls enjoy a well-deserved getaway to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, but there is no getting away from the judges’ scrutiny now that an undercover judge joins them 24/7 disguised as a new contestant; and this week, they brave the heat for the longest catwalk challenge, before balancing on ice skates for an editorial photo shoot that puts some of them on thin ice.

    While competing in Malaysia might seem like home advantage for one of the contestants at first, the weight of the nation proves too much for her to bear. Back at the hotel, everyone puts the newbie through the wringer. Special appearances by fashion photographer, Bibo Aswan; and creative consultant, Daniel Boey.

    Yay! International destination. Oh and Shikin is so going to be Bottom 2 this episode. Will she be eliminated? We’ll find out.

    Last year, I impulsively booked tickets to Cebu just because I saw an A1 concert poster on Twitter. I also got my VIP concert ticket that same night. I used my GetGo points! Work got me really depressed that day so… don’t judge. This also happened way, way before I booked my Kim Bok Joo Korea trip, which I also happened because I was depressed so really, don’t judge.😝

    The next day, the Manila leg poster popped up on my timeline. I should have waited but that would just be another concert in Araneta. When life hands me lemons, I make lemonade so I turned this impulsive decision into a one of a kind A1 Fangirling experience turned to an Amiciness Goes on a VL episode.

    Hunting Down “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo” Filming Spots in Seoul, South Korea

    I was stressed the week before and during Holy Week so I did something crazy: I booked a flight bound to Seoul, the land of Kim Bok Jo , the next day! Okay, it wasn’t all that crazy. It’s just crazy for my pockets. I was crashing a Korean spring trip of my friends (who booked their tickets last year btw). Not having time to regret my decision, I had to go home straightaway and pack my bags!

    My friends were going to Nami Island and considering I’ve been there three times already, I passed and decided my trip to visit all the filming locations of the latest Korean drama that I fell in love with: Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo (Korean title: 역도요정 김복주). Exploring the city alone was no problem but the fact that no one was there to take my picture made me second guess my decision. All’s good. *tears*
