    The 65th Miss Universe just keeps on surprising. Past Miss Universe queens will be gracing the most beautiful night in the universe. It’s like a homecoming of queens held in a country obsessed with beauty pageants, nonetheless. It’s like when Comic-Con announced that Hodor was coming to Manila. The excitement, the panic… everything is so surreal! I can’t wait for Mondaayyyyy!

    *breathes* Okay. I’m OK now. These confidently beautiful pageant legends are the stars aligning in our country next week. Okay, enough “universe” references!

    The finals night of Miss World 2016 just concluded a few hours ago, and it has been a somewhat shocking turn of events. It’s the first time in a long time that the contest was held in the United States. But of course, here at Amiciness, I’m going to focus on everyone’s favorite portion: the final Q&A. And this year’s Q&A includes a curious twist. Previous Miss World queens get to ask questions to the Top 5 vying for the title and crown of Miss World 2016. Interesting.     Miss International 2016 has been crowned and, after three short years, the Philippines has won the Miss International crown again. Kylie Verzosa seemed to have impressed the judges (and the Japanese public) not only with her beauty but also with her wit, which was in full display during her final speech. Let’s look at how the Top 5 girls fared, in the order that they gave their final speeches:

    Asia’s Next Top Model has successfully wrapped up another cycle. I can’t believe it’s been four cycles already. I can still remember my first AsNTM post in my blog (then on Tumblr). I’ve recapped every episode (and reviewed some of them), but now it’s time to take a look back at what the show did great and what we, the fans, think need to be cut and made-over. Below are some of my literal reactions to the recently concluded Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 4.
