While waiting for my Calligraphy Class (I’ll share that in another post), I did some shopping at Fully Booked. I was glad I didn’t stay elsewhere or else I could have bought unnecessary stuff and regretted them! Whew! The last book that I read was All the Bright Places by Rainbow Rowell and currently, I’m still reading Never Let Me Go (That’s thanks to Andrew Garfield!) by Kazuo Ishiguro, which I bought in 2014. So it was about time for me to shop for my bookcase and that was enough reason for me to not feel guilty about my purchase. Confession: I’m a recovering shopaholic. And my list includes Lang Leav! <3
Blogging about my latest purchase to make me feel not guilty. HAHA.
Drum roll please! Here are the items of my purchase of the week after the jump.
Amiciness visits the Trampoline Park in Greenfield, Mandaluyong City. At first glance, the area isn’t as big (vs. to what we expected) but it’s more than enough to enjoy the whole experience. I got discounted vouchers from Metrodeal but you can get a 1-hour all-access to the park for the regular price of P320 (weekdays) and P350 (weekends).
Jumpin’ jumping.
The receiving area faces the street. It’s a bit disorganized but it does the job. Entering the Trampoline Park, you will be sent to the waiting area upstairs since people are only allowed to enter every hour. Minutes before our schedule, we are asked to go to the viewing area to watch a safety video, imported from the UK, I guess. I suggest they shoot a Filipino version to make it even more entertaining and informative.
Seriously, hiningal ako. </3
There’s the main court (with a volleyball net and colorful balls) where you can trampoline all you want. The park also has a basketball area so you can practice dunking. That’s way too advanced for me. HAHA. I have my limits.
WORK IT!
I tried doing poses while jumping to no avail. Consider this as an official apology to ANTM/AsNTM models who were required to bounce up and in the air while struggling to be high fashion. I. AM. SORRY.
And the FCO goes to me… #NOT
Trampolining is a good fitness activity as it helps strengthen your core muscles and improves control of body position. However, you are trampolining at your own risk. Meaning, you have to be a responsible trampoliner. Haha Trampoliners is such a cute word. Don’t worry, the safety video tutorial will guide you on your first time. PS. Don’t forget to warm-up and stretch!
Wahhhhh…
Overall, I enjoyed the experience even if my body was a bit old for this. Trampolining has always been a dream ever since I was exposed to western television. I envy the kids who’re given the opportunity to experience this while their bodies are still not frail and their energy limitless. HAHA. Next time, I’ll bring red bull.
I’m giving away two of my Trampoline Park vouchers to one lucky winner. All you have to do is like and share this post on Facebook. Tag @Amiciness or include the hashtag #Amiciness. Make sure your post is public so we can see your entry.
Promo is only until May 15. The voucher is valid until May 25. 🙂
Choosing a smart phone is not as easy as you may think (even with all the money!). It’s not as convenient as it was in the 90s when you’d just buy the latest cell and go on your way home. These days, choosing a smart phone is as complicated as choosing a presidential candidate and even dating! It’s like choosing your soulmate in a sea of equally appealing candidates from Tinder, where hitting like or dislike is a matter of life and death! Whether you’re voting, finding “the one” or looking for a new smartphone, you need to choose wisely.
Try to catch the crown!! #LiveWithTheKIng
Luckily, the Huawei Nexus 6P has it all from the unique and elegant design to its low-light loving, powerful camera not to mention its fast speed and premium performance. With its features fit for royalty (yes, it’s available in gold!), our search for the King of smartphones is over. Huawei Nexus 6P is the one true king.
Learn more about the features of Huawei Nexus 6P in my vlog below. It’s my first time to vlog, so be nice. HAHA. Enjoy!
What are your favorite Huawei Nexus 6P features? What do you think it’s like to Live with the King?
The 2016 Philippine Elections is almost here and it’s still super hard to choose who to vote for president. With all the articles and posts trending on my wall telling me who to vote, who said this, who manipulated this, whose supporters did that, it is a must to be vigilant. Do your own research and be informed!
While I’m still researching, I made a list of the things I look for in my president-to-be. I just listed down a few top-of-mind wishes regardless if they are part of the president’s job or not. It’s just my grown-up election list!
My president must be accountable.
I think this is pretty self-explanatory. I cannot highlight the need for an accountable president more. The problem with most Filipinos is that we always try to blame somebody. And that somebody is always the president. I’m poor because of the president. The airport is lame because of the president. Zayn left One Direction because of the president. We’re fond of blaming others but can’t take the blame when it’s our fault in the first place. To make matters even worse, the president, the highest leader in the land, also plays the blame game.
Tuhmuh!
So my friends, my friends, choose an accountable president. And please, future president, own up to your faults. Be an example to every Filipino. (more…)
Coffee frappe grande 3 pumps raspberry whip blended in
Going to Starbucks has become a necessary habit. Recently, the more stressed we become, the more we need coffee to help us to stay focused and to give us our daily dose of happiness. A cup of coffee (specifically a frappe) is a cup full of joy. I know, I know some of the more frugal people will say that Starbucks is overpriced and spending your salary for a cup of coffee is just crazy. Let’s agree to disagree, okay? I demand Starbucks-shaming to stop, please!
This drink is a discovery of my friend, Jonats. If you want to try something different with your coffee, try this P170 drink. The raspberry syrup will tingle your tastebuds like no other. Adjust the number of pumps depending on your preference on sweetness. The drink will literally quench your thirst especially with the super summery weather we have now!
Watch out for more food posts! 🙂
Try this drink and tell me all about it in the comment section.
