Taiwan Excellence is a campaign founded in 1993 by Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) with the vision of showcasing superior brand, innovation and technology of Taiwanese manufacturers to the world. The campaign has been active in the Philippines for 5 years now. To celebrate its anniversary, for the first time ever, Taiwan Excellence Day was held at the SMX Aura Convention Center last June 15 and 16.

It was 10 years ago when ASUS first entered the Philippine market. Now, ASUS phones have reached 1.8 million users. With its very competitive pricing and continually innovating features, it’s no wonder ASUS has become one of the most sought out brands. In fact, the ZenFone 5 was declared sold out in just 45 minutes! This was also true for on-site sales during the launch event itself, which brought the total sell-out of 1,000 ZenFone 5’s and ZenFone 5Q’s combined. That’s just under an hour of their first day in the country. That’s impressive! 👏

After the presscon, I’ve never been more excited to see a musical. Especially that the root material was a film I’ve been watching in Cinema One (formely Pinoy Blockbuster Channel) when I was a child every lazy afternoon. In case you hadn’t already known, Himala‘s story centers on Elsa who claims to have the power of healing after the Blessed Virgin Mary appears to her. News of her miracles spread within and beyond her hometown Cupang attracting thousands of sick and curious followers. This causes an irreversible disturbance to the once sleepy town.
ASUS Zenfone Max Plus was officially launched last January 14 at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium. Along with other tech-lovers and Zenfans, Amiciness was there to witness the unveiling of the Battery King of smartphones hosted by fitness coach and TV host, Vince Velasco.
